Derek is an FEI (I) International Level Course Designer as well as a US Equestrian Federation National Course Advisor residing in Carmel Valley, CA (USA). Derek regularly travels the country to venues such as Fair Hill, Kentucky Horse Park,Bromont and Stuart Horse Trials designing some of the countries most illustrious courses. His philosophy is to use the natural features of the terrain to create the questions needed to keep the course in line with the level being asked.
